“Christina’s choreography is modern and timeless, the body giving eloquent expression to the intangible feelings of tortured hearts. The choreography is intense, intricate, complex and unexpected. And it is interpreted with a sophisticated acumen and effortless fluidity by the ensemble of highly-skilled dancers. ”

“Sometimes the Sex is so Good is the latest dance work from Christina, following the tale of comfort in complacency.” - Rhea Singh, CBC
“…All elements here betray ample consideration and craft.” - Istvan Dugalin, Theatre Review
“…It is raw, chaotic, desperate and loving. The lighting was stark and dramatic as was the score and sound created. Again, very compelling.” - Lynn Slotkin, Slotkin Letter
“The movement is jagged and taut, full of tension and torque. There are moments of choking, collapse, and almost-feral closeness. At times, it felt like the two performers were moving through some kind of ruin—of the body, the world, the self—and still choosing to stay. The experience was intense and unexpected, and likely not what a casual viewer would anticipate…It’s the kind of work that asks for patience, attention, and a willingness to sit with discomfort. But even in its ambiguity, I appreciated what it was reaching toward: something queer, chaotic, and unresolved, where intimacy can be both a comfort and a trap.” - Deanne Kearney, Dance Review

LEAK (2019)
The solo, Leak, premiered April 2019 at THEMUSEUM in Kitchener, Ontario at the Flow exhibition curated by Virginia Eichhorn. Christina explored the topography of menstruation cycles. Cycling through a physical score that will showcase the integral balance between lightness and abnormality, looking into how we conceptualize a period.
